Services

Quarry Drilling
R&B Rock Drilling have been providing a comprehensive drilling service throughout the UK for over 30 years. We are able to drill holes of between 80mm and 300mm, and only use the latest rotary air flush equipment to ensure that our services are always of the best quality and to the highest standards. We have experience working on all terrains and geology, and can offer you our expertise when planning the project to ensure it is completed in the most efficient and cost-effective manner.

Rock Blasting
R&B are highly experienced in all aspects of rock blasting. Their fully trained and certified personnel will discuss your requirements with you, before designing the blast to ensure the desired result. We work with all the leading explosive suppliers to guarantee that we are only using the best quality products. We are able to undertake rock on the ground contracts, and can also carry out restoration and pre-split blasting.

Water Hole Drilling
R&B provide a full water hole drilling service for domestic and commercial properties, useful to provide water for irrigation of gardens, feeding animals, filling ponds or lakes, or even supplying drinking water. We can create fully plastic-lined holes, up to 200mm in diameter and provide water pumps for your convenience.

We also offer dewatering services, and can create soakaways or multi hole dewatering intended to lower the water table of a site, ensuring a dryer and more cohesive ground surface.

Building Site Investigation
We are able to carry out site investigations on large or small plots of land, to ensure the suitability of the ground for development work. R&B use a variety of different techniques as each project is different, therefore we design each site investigation bespoke for each individual project.

We use probe drilling to determine underground structures on the site such as mine shafts and grout hole drilling to stabilise ground that has previously been worked on, to prevent subsidence and enable further work on the site. We also utilise drilling gas monitoring holes which can be analysed on an ongoing basis to determine the gas levels of the area.
